In an era of mass production, Alder Moss Goods honors the mindful cadence of the pottery wheel, celebrating the subtle organic variations that make each piece uniquely yours.
Rooted in Portland, Oregon, our studio draws inspiration from the moss-draped forests, coastal rock formations, and river stones of the Pacific Northwest. We hand-mix our own non-toxic, lead-free glazes using crushed mineral feldspars, iron oxides, and natural wood ash.
Small Batch Discipline
Each kiln firing contains fewer than 40 unique vessels, allowing obsessive attention to wall thickness and weight balance.
Tactile Ergonomics
Every rim is hand-beveled for comfort, and every cup handle is pulled by hand to fit the natural curve of your fingers.
